Year 7 Girls - Athletic Meet
All of the girls had a positive attitude and were excited to represent the academy in their first athletics meet. They each competed in up to 3 events, so it took their full efforts to perform throughout. It was brilliant to see the girls cheer each other on, and congratulate their peers.
A special mention to Eva who placed 1st in the 100m final, and Stevanna came 3rd in the hurdles final. This is an amazing achievement, and I think the girls were surprised at just how well they did.
Lucy – 1500m and Javelin.
Keira – High Jump and 200m.
Amelia – Javelin and 800m.
Faoziat – 100m (got to the final), Shot put, Relay.
Stevanna – Hurdles, Long Jump and Relay.
Tula – 800m and Shot Put.
Brianna – 100m and Long Jump.
Liuka – 200m, long jump and Relay.
Eva- 100m (final), high jump and Relay.
