GCSE SUCCESS AT HARRIS ACADEMY ORPINGTON
There were celebrations at Harris Academy Orpington this morning as Year 11 students collected their GCSE results.
Two students did particularly well. Zainab Shuaib achieved three Grade 9s including in English Literature and English Language and Doresa Gashi achieved a grade 9 in History and five grade 8s across Science, Maths, English and French. Both students will be continuing their studies at the Academy’s Sixth Form next year.
Richard Carey, Head of Academy at Harris Academy Orpington, said:
We are pleased to see the hard work and efforts of our students rewarded again with excellent GCSE outcomes. We are looking forward to celebrating with the Year 11s in September when they join our Sixth Form which was judged Outstanding by Ofsted in May. We are incredibly proud of each and every one of our students. They have worked very hard and deserve to be celebrating today.”
