Year 10 ‘Virtual’ Work Experience

On the 21st, 22nd and 23rd June Year 10 will be participating in three days of online ‘virtual’ work experience.

Students will be withdrawn from normal lessons over the course of the three days, and they will be based in IT rooms where they will participate in online consultations, meetings and complete other set tasks.

They will engage in tasks relating to recruitment, management, financial budgeting and workload distribution. 

The three days will culminate with a presentation that the students will work to complete, and will need to submit to a deadline, in order to gain a certificate.

The opportunity is being provided by Reed, one of the UK’s largest recruitments agencies and should prove to be a valuable experience for all involved.
