Euro 2020 Tournament - Solidarity Against Racism

During the Euro 2020 tournament we were all rooting for the England team and this excitement has been great for bringing the staff and student community together as one.

The England team contributed to spreading joy in our academy and we thank them for that. We were all so proud to get to the final and are extremely proud of all the players' performance throughout the tournament.

It brought us all great shame and disappointment that members of the public could be racially abusive to anyone and in this case people that are such positive role models for our children.

Therefore, we wanted to take the time to show our solidarity and support by writing letters to the players to let them know we stand with them not against them.

At HAO we are an anti-racist community and are committed to promoting equality and diversity at our academy and the wider community.
