DEAR Day

To finish off a great term for literacy, all KS3 students recently took part in our second DEAR (Drop Everything And Read) Day of the year. We continued reading ‘The Daydreamer’ by Ian Mc Ewan, exploring the crazy world of Peter who imagines he has been transformed into a cat! The students were once again enthusiastic and completed a range of discussion tasks and activities at the beginning of each lesson. We had some very creative responses when students were asked which animal they would most like to be!
