Women's Empowerment Network at Parliament

As part of HAO's equality initiative, some of our students had an amazing opportunity to attend an exclusive event at Parliament on Wednesday 19th March 2025 to celebrate the success of the Women's Empowerment Network, which is a group that has stemmed from the Traveller Movement organisation. 

In celebration of International Women's Day and Women's History Month, the event launched the Women’s Empowerment Network Annual Review which is a summary of all the things the Women's Empowerment Network (WEN) has achieved in 2024-2025.

It was great to hear from those in attendance, about their life experiences, what they have achieved and how they empowered themselves, with discussions on themes relating to identity and careers.
